Camping Solar Lamps

whats the most efficient way to create and store electricity while traveling and camping?
I want to go on an extended road trip around oz, and I want to be sure I have enough power in my caravan to run….. a laptop for photoshop, and a 22″ monitor for my USB hdtv (5V), (9V) for my guitar pedal and headphones, and maybe a fluro desk lamp or 2. to be able to run for at least 6 hours of the day before recharging
I had an idea of running an alternator combined with solar to charge batteries in the van, but I was concerned about the weight, and size of car batteries, then I remembered seeing some car that runs on a pack of possibly hundreds of rechargable aa batteries running in a series or something. Is it possible to do something like that and achieve 240V from a battery the size of a laptop?
There are several solar panels available to charge the batteries on your rig to meet your needs. here is an example.

I have one similar to this that came with my rig and it provides enough electricity to fully charge my rigs batteries in just a couple of hours. I can also run my radio and lights while there charging. I would believe a couple of these would give you the power your need.
